From the Foster: This girl has been dealt some crappy hands during her life but she still remains such a sweetheart. Morgan was originally found as a stray and already missing her eye. So we do not know what happened. She was adopted 5 years ago and returned when her family was unable to find housing. We got her in with the ophthalmologist right away as her remaining eye was cloudy. Morgan had cataract surgery and unfortunately had Sudden Acquired Retinal Degeneration Syndrome (SARDS) a few days after surgery. While she is not completely blind her vision is very, very limited. Her foster home has not had to make many accommodations but does always make sure her walking areas are clear. She cannot see close up at all really. She has adjusted very well since losing her vision. Morgan is a easy keeper and the best snuggler.
Adoption Fee: $275
