Reaction to New People: Loves new people, VERY excited and sniffs all over, doesn't jump but will woo!
Kid Friendly: Yes
Training: understands basic commands- sit, wait, lay down. GREAT recall and eager to please his humans
Fence: foster home didn't have a fenced yard, so we only know that he does well on a tie-out. Would recommend a tall fence as he is a tall boy!
Grooming Needs: Normal Husky grooming. You should aim for brushing at least once per week, more often when blowing his coat (about twice per year).
Solo or Siblings: either
From the Foster: Paulie is the sweetest boy! He absolutely loves his foster parents and is so excited to see us when we come home even if it's only been a few minutes. Very good walker with a prong collar, and with some training and routine he will be a perfect walking companion with a standard martingale collar. Self care is a top priority for this guy, he loves having his gorgeous coat brushed, and doesn't mind an occasional nail trim. He plays well with his foster sister but is still learning boundaries and requires some redirection at times. Top tier cuddle guy whether it's on the couch or in bed at night (he prefers to be the little spoon) but could also be trained to sleep on a dog bed on the floor at night. He's a big boy but that doesn't stop him from climbing in to your lap to get some affection. His main motivation is pleasing his humans and he is extremely responsive to training.
