From the Foster: Cheddar is a fun loving, rambunctious little boy. He loves to play with both people and dogs but can also keep himself occupied with toys playing on his own. He is a CUDDLE BUG who would love nothing more than to jump full speed into open arms and snuggle as tight as can be with a person. He may seem shy at first but can warm up to new situations in a minute or two. He is curious about spaces around him which may get him in trouble from time to time but can be redirected with a toy or attention. His favorite play style is tug and he also likes to chase and wrestle.

Training is going well as he is a smart boy who picks up on things quickly. He is learning some manners from the resident dogs such as personal space, quiet time, and how to walk on leash. He crates for a few hours during the day and will whine depending on how much play he had before going in. If he's tired, Cheddar will gladly return to the crate for a nap. At night, he'll sleep through until morning for the most part but may occasionally ask to be let out in the early morning. He can return to the crate to sleep longer. Cheddar is food and toy motivated which has helped start training sit, lay down, leave it, maintaining eye contact, and come when called. Potty training is in progress, but accidents are managed well with frequent breaks. If he's not playing or sleeping, he generally will need to go.

Cheddar is looking for a family that is dedicated to helping him grow into the best boy he could possibly be!
