Eye color: Blue Eyes

Birthday: Approximately 5/17/2021

Weight: 30 lbs

Large Dog Friendly: Yes

Small Dog Friendly: Yes

Cat Friendly: Unknown

Crate Trained: Yes, but still working on being quiet when initially settling in

Housebroken: 90%

Energy Level: 11/10

Reaction to New People: excited but no barking or jumping. He did excited piddle but we have been working on it amd if the environment is calm he'll stay calm. Very eager to get head scratches.

Kid Friendly: Yes

Training: Great name recognition. Good with basic commands. Knows Come, Sit, Potty outside, Kennel (although guiding him helps)

Fence: does great in fenced yards and hasn't shown any desire of looking over it to jump. He would love a home with a decent sized fenced yard to run off his energy, but not 100% necessary if a strong plan is in place to keep him safe.

Solo or Siblings: I believe he could be either.

From the Foster: Otter is a fun energetic 1.5 year old. He loves toys, playing with the foster parents and running around their back yard. He is also very fond of his dog foster sisters however the feeling isn't always mutual. Otter is having some difficulty understanding dog language and communication. When they give a correction and tell him enough play time, he will bark and keep going at them. It is all playful he just hasn't learned when to redirect. The foster home is working on that and using redirection techniques. He is a bit mouthy, as in play bites but will settle and stop. He sleeps in the foster mom's room in a penned area so he has more free space and has had a few accidents so that is being addressed. He is neutered, fully vaccinated but does have a front leg that bows out slightly. This has been checked by the vet with x-rays and it seems it grew that way and wasn't a break.

He is eager to please and has been doing very well with training at his foster home. Now all he needs is his forever family!
