Comments: Please meet this beautiful girl, Foxy. Foxy is 5 years old and came to rescue from a hoarding case. She has been rehabilitating for the past few months to try to forget the past life she had. She is potty trained but will require a fenced in yard as tie outs don't work for her. As is the case with most hoarding dogs, she trusts and adores other dogs, all dogs big or small. People she is less trusting of. She is all flight and will run away or try to hide her face from new people. But she is starting to trust, starting to realize her future is bright with people that love her and want the best for her.

She kennels nicely, does not have accidents in the house and sleeps quietly. She will politely yell at other dogs if they try to take her fluffy dog toys from her. Who can blame her, she's never had toys of her own before.

Foxy will need a loving adopter that is willing to be patient with her growth, but also push her forward out of her comfort zone so that she continues to make strides. Foxy would do best in a family with another "leader dog that can show her the ropes and remind her that everything is okay.

She is very very sweet, will allow cuddles and will give you the cutest woo-woo when she wants something. Are you looking for a good dog that just needs a little help to become a great dog? Are you looking for an underdog that just wants someone to love and guide her? If so Foxy is your girl!

All our fosters are: Spayed or neutered before adoption. Evaluated for temperament and train-ability. Up to date on rabies, distemper and bordetella, Heart-worm tested and on preventative year round. Micro-chipped.
