Eye Color: Bi Eyes - 1 blue & 1 Hazel

Birthday: 11/01/2017 - estimated

Weight: 50 lbs

Large Dog Friendly: Yes, but he prefers his female foster sister over his male foster brother

Small Dog Friendly: He does well with small dogs at the dog park

Cat Friendly: No kitties for Diesel

Crate Trained: Yes

Housebroken: Yes

Energy Level: Medium, Diesel likes to be by his people so if someone's sitting watching TV at night he will nap near you 🙂

Reaction to New People: Diesel loves meeting new people, especially if they want to pet him!

Kid Friendly: Sometimes he plays rough so he would do best in a home with children 10 and older.

Training: His foster home has taught him "stay and has leash trained him! He came into rescue eating very fast so he's also learned "wait and stay" while giving him his food to keep him back. He has been using a bowl that reminds him to slow down as well that will go with him to his forever home. He is crate trained and potty trained as well.

Grooming Needs: Diesel has short fur that looks similar to a lab, but still has a double layer coat that blows twice a year. He will need brushed a few times a month to maintain his shiny coat.

Fence: Diesel does not care for tieouts and is high energy during playtime, therefore his foster family would like to see him find a forever home with a fenced yard.

Solo or Siblings: Diesel will need a home with another dog, he becomes very anxious if left alone. His foster siblings help him feel calm and safe while the humans are away.

From the Foster: Diesel loves being by his people! He loves cuddling but can be a little anxious when alone. Because of this he would love a forever home with other dogs to hang out with while his people are gone. If there aren't any people to cuddle with he settles for snuggles with his foster siblings 🙂 He is a sweet boy who is very loving! He lives for his daily walks and occasional trips to the dog park! He does great being out of his crate in his foster home and can be trusted not to get into mischief, we thank his non husky side for that! Speaking of his non husky side, did you notice his face is one half husky, one half lab?? Cute right! Diesel has been with us for quite some time and is really hoping the perfect family will overlook the fact that he isn't full husky and see his other side for all its positives! Are you that family?
