About Blaze-0325

Sex: Male

Color: Red & White

Eye Color: Brown Eyes

Birthday: 03/11/19 estimated

Weight: 64 lbs.

Large Dog Friendly: Yes

Small Dog Friendly: Did fine with a small dog at the dog park

Cat Friendly: No

Crate Trained: No, he dislikes being in a crate and wouldn't do well in a townhouse/apartment with shared walls. His ideal home would work from home or have short days away from the house. He currently is taking a medication to calm his anxiousness.

Housebroken: Yes

Energy Level: High

Reaction to New People: Friendly

Kid Friendly: Unknown but should not live with children under 16 as he likes to jump on people and can be very mouthy.

Training: Knows sit, shake, high five, lay down, will come when called (most of the time). Working on wait and leave it.

Grooming Needs: Blaze has a standard husky coat which will require frequent brushing. We are working on trust right now, as he does not enjoy being brushed on the hind quarters.

Fence: He would do fine with a fenced yard or a tie-out.

Solo or Siblings: He would do well as an only dog or with siblings that are willing to put him in his place. An active/young dog would make a great match for him.

Hi I'm Blaze! I was found wandering the streets so no one really knows my background. One thing is for sure, I didn't have too many rules or boundaries in my past so I'm kind of a big puppy. But it's ok! I'm working with a trainer to curb my enthusiasm to a gentle roar. I also get to go to daycare a few times a week to keep up with my socialization. I have to be reminded now and again that other pups don't like it when I...er....umm...jump on them, but I'm a work in progress! But my brain and body run fast so I'm looking for a partner in crime that will work me both physically and mentally. If you have husky experience and love to bikejor, skijor, snowshoe, hike, run marathons, I would love to meet you! These things all sound excellent to me! With my busy husky brain I need a mental work out too- obedience work, puzzle games, hide and seek, fetch, maybe even agility-let's get creative together. Since I'm still learning how to dog, I would prefer a home with older kids or no kids, as I'm a bit mouthy when I play. I do good with redirection and ignoring when I'm playing keep-away or having a husky tantrum. Beware-I'm a shoe stealer and I will prance around with my find hoping to engage you in a game of "Catch the Naughty Husky. So if you are looking for a fuzzy buddy and willing to put the work in to mold this big ol' puppy into something nice to have dinner with, I'm your boy! I would love to find an active, strong leader hooman that wants to show me the ropes and help me be the best boy I can be. Is it you? Smash that button below to apply to adopt me. I'm so excited to become your bestest friend.

Adoption Fee: $400
