Small Dog Friendly: No

Cat Friendly: Definitely not

Reaction to New People: Very friendly!

Kid Friendly: Should not live with young children as she may knock them down unintentionally

Training: Izzie walks nicely at a heel. She will sit and wait before being fed. She sleeps quietly in her crate at night!

Grooming Needs: Izzie has a standard husky coat which will require frequent thorough brushing. You should aim for at least once a week, and more when she is blowing her coat, typically twice a year.

Fence: 5' fence needed, has history of escaping a shorter fence

Solo or Siblings: Izzie could fit in with other large dogs and would appreciate having a canine playmate.

From the Foster: Izzie is a sweet girl who loves her walkies and gets excited for her food. She happily allows her teeth to be brushed every day and a little less happily submits to ear cleaning once a week. Izzie loves meeting people and other dogs but isn't much for cuddling. She would love to have a similar sized canine sibling, preferably a male. Izzie does enjoy digging holes so careful inspection of the fence line on a regular basis is recommended. She is very food motivated and is eager to learn new tricks. Izzie should not be trusted with cats or other small pets. Think you might be the right fit for this active lady? Apply today!
