About Snowstorm-0268

Color: White

Eye Color: Blue

Birthday: 11/11/2018

Weight: 38.2 lbs

Large Dog Friendly: Yes

Small Dog Friendly: Yes

Cat Friendly: NO

Crate Trained: Yes, he's very good in his crate

Housebroken: Yes, (because of his surgeries, he was crated for long periods during the healing process. He regressed a bit during that time, but is nearly back to 100%. Sometimes a moment sneaks up on him, and he won't give you much time to get him out once he heads to the door. I suspect by the time he's adopted, this will be a thing of the past!

Energy Level: High

Reaction to New People: Friendly

Kid Friendly: He is still learning manners, so I suspect he would knock a young child over without even realizing it. He's not aggressive in any way, just hyper and wanting to be in the center of all of the action.

Training: None - he's smart and treat motivated, but because of his leg surgeries, commands such as "sit and "lay down were impossible before. He is quickly learning "come and "leave it...especially since he's still essentially in puppy mode and loves to get things into his mouth that he shouldn't. I suspect "sit'will be a command he'll know soon, and I'm very confident he'll excel during a training class.

Grooming Needs: He has a standard husky coat which will require frequent brushing.

Fence: He would do fine with a fence or without one, using a strong tie-out or trolley system

Solo or Siblings: Either. He loves my younger pup because he can be rough and tumble with him. My senior pup is easily annoyed with his energy. Stormie loves toys...loooooooooves toys. So, he is quite content to entertain himself with toys and human interaction. I don't see either as an impediment to his growth and success.

From the Foster: Hi everyone, Snowstorm here (aka: Snowie. Aka: Stormie). I have some big news to share with you all. Last week I made a trip to the doctor's office. After a few pokes and prods, they've declared my leg surgeries a success and I've been given the 'all clear' to start my forever family search!

A few things to consider about me: I'm still basically just a puppy. I have the going power of the Energizer Bunny. I'm still learning manners, so it would be wonderful if I had an older sibling to show me the way - preferably one that can play and won't be too annoyed by my lack of boundaries. I love to go on walks, but, even though I'm allowed to, I should be eased back into them (I currently can do about 30 minutes, but I'd love to do more). Can we talk for a few moments about toys? I love them. I need them. I'm OBSESSED with them. I want to play all day long. I want to turn everything into a toy...and for that reason, I do not do well in a house with cats (cats are toys, right?).

I have the cutest howl you've ever heard. In fact, it's so cute, you won't notice that I like to use it to sass all things and everyone when I'm not getting my way. Like I always say: It's not being stubborn when you're this cute. Be prepared for husky sass. But!!! Don't be fooled, I love to cuddle almost as much as I love toys. I sometimes pretend I hate being cuddled and throw a tantrum only be fall fast asleep in your arms 5 seconds later. Remember what I said earlier...basically still a puppy.

So, does any of this sound like I'd be a good fit for your family? I hope so. I'm so eager to just play and be loved. I'd sure wish someone wants to help me turn into the bestest sweetest dog I'm destined to be.
