Birthday: July 20, 2020
Weight: 43 lbs
Large Dog Friendly: Yes
Small Dog Friendly: Unsure
Cat Friendly: Very interested in our cat, wants to play and then woo woo's when she can't get to him.
Crate Trained: Yes, loves her crate. Especially when covered.
Housebroken: Mostly, yes. Still working on going potty on a leash.
Energy Level: Moderate
Reaction to New People: A little shy
Kid Friendly: Unsure, but her temp foster had kids
Training: Basic; knows sit, leave it, off.
Grooming Needs: Frequent brushing or grooming needed. She has the softest coat!
Fence: Would need a 6 ft fence as she's a jumper and has a history of escaping.
Solo or Siblings: I think she would do well on her own or with a sibling that likes to play.
From the Foster: Kali is the sweetest girl. She is a little scared of new people but once you earn her trust she is super affectionate. She loves to play with her 1 year old foster sister, they chase and play for hours and then fall asleep next to each other.
Kali prefers to be hand-fed but should eat meals away from other pet siblings initially.
Her temp foster had a yard with a doggie door, so we are working on going potty on a leash & on a tie-out. We've already seen good progress with this in just a few days. Kali is completely crate trained and does well in there whether people or pets are home or away.
