From the Foster: Indie's super power is sweetness. Cuddling and watch movies is one of his favorite pastimes. This young boy is very affectionate and eager to please. He knows basic obedience, is house trained and crates beautifully. He respects boundaries with other dogs and obeys the house rules well. He loves his morning walks with the resident dogs and although he does pull like a husky naturally would, he is well behaved on his daily adventures.
Indie has been in foster care for approx 6 months. Indie does have easily manageable special needs. He had 2 seizures in November, a couple weeks apart. We did a full exam and bloodwork. Everything came back normal. The second seizure was milder and shorter in length. He did have a 3rd mild seizure in December and was started on Zonisamide to treat Idiopathic epilepsy. This information should be made aware to any veterinarian he sees in the future so they can avoid giving any medications that may trigger seizure activity. At this point there is no way of knowing what caused the seizures and if he will have any more in his future. Indie's medication costs about $40/month through the vet clinic but can likely be found cheaper with a prescription discount (like Good RX) at a pharmacy like Costco or CVS.
Adoption Fee: $400
