Large Dog Friendly: Yes

Small Dog Friendly: Unknown-testing soon

Cat Friendly: No - extremely high prey drive

Crate Trained: Does not like it - separation anxiety when his chosen person leaves

Housebroken: Yes

Energy Level: Usual young husky - high energy, loves to play

Reaction to New People: Does bark and jump a little initially, wants attention but a little cautious. So far not at all mouthy.

Kid Friendly: Unknown

Training: Sits for his food, comes when called maybe half the time, will not drop a rabbit/squirrel when he gets one. Does okay sharing sticks with our dog, but toys may be an issue to watch.

Grooming Needs: Regular brushing, skin condition under chin/lower lip that we are treating.

Fence: Preferred - foster has a 6 foot fence and he has not made any attempts to escape

Solo or Siblings: Either- he really loves his people though, so we are training him not to resource guard humans which he started after a few weeks here. He does good with our dogs.

From the Foster: This sweet boy was handed over from someone's coworker who couldn't handle him, and was then kept outside on a cement slab with a plastic shelter, walking through his own feces. We were told this person tased him to get him to stop barking. He was surrendered to us on November 18th. When he got here he got along well with our dogs, but wouldn't come in the house since they hadn't ever let him in. The first night we had to grab him and pull him in, treats didn't even work! He now knows he can be in the house and he loves it!

Rider loves playing - he is a "Barky Talker" when playing and hungry. He has an adorable heavy sigh when he's resting, and has been a really good boy! He will take your spot on the bed until you're ready, so it'll be nice and warm. He usually sleeps on the floor by the bed or in the hall. He had tested positive for Lyme disease when we first got him and has been treated for that. We are working on treating a skin condition on his chin where it is dry and scaly.

This good boy can't wait to find his forever home where he will be loved like he deserves!
