Large Dog Friendly: Yes, I love playing with friends.

Small Dog Friendly: I don't know as there aren't any small dogs at my foster home, but I do well with cats, so maybe I would be OK.

Cat Friendly: Yes. I went to a vacation foster who has 5 cats and I was told I was a really good girl with all 5 of them! Dog savvy cats that don't mind giving some boops when I'm being intrusive or cats that do not initiate chase 🙂

Crate Trained: My foster mom tells people I like to protest at times by howling a bit, but I do settle in. I am definitely getting better with this. I am crated during the day while my foster family works and anytime they leave the house. They tell me it is to keep me safe and comfortable.

Housebroken: Yes. I don't always make it clear when I need to go outside so my foster family just lets me out every couple hours. My foster siblings are bell trained. I have been curious about the bell so my foster mom said she is going to try to teach me how to use it.

Energy Level: I'm young, so I do have a lot of energy. I love going on walks with my foster siblings and being able to explore all the different sights, sounds and smells. But I also like to curl up and watch TV.

Reaction to New People: Although I can warm up quick and am friendly, I am still cautious at first when meeting new people.

Kid Friendly: My foster family doesn't have young kids, but I did really well when I met the 2 young neighbor boys. I even cleaned up their faces for them after they ate.

Training: My foster mom says I know "sit really well and I respond to my name. She continues to work with me on some other basic commands. I do pull when I start out with my walks, but I get better as time goes on. I'm very food motivated and I really want to show how smart I am so if you continue to work with me and take me to classes, I know I can learn so much!

Grooming Needs: I do need to be brushed regularly due to my typical husky fur. My foster mom gave me a bath and said I did really good for that!

Fence: My foster family has a 4' fence. I love it because it lets me run around safely. But if you don't have a fence, I would be just fine on a tie out.

Solo or Siblings: I'm so young and enjoy playing with other friends that I would love to have a foster sibling. But if you don't have a foster sibling for me, that would be OK as well.

From the Foster: When Moon first came to us, she was a bit shy and cautious. It didn't take her long to warm up to us and make herself at home. She continues to be a little more cautious and slow to approach men, but we are working on this and she is getting better. She does warm up to them, they just have to work harder at it.

She travels well, for the most part, in the car. She just gets so excited with all the things to see that she bounces from seat to seat. A simple doggie seat belt will help with that.

She is very friendly with other dogs and we continue to work on socializing skills. She has a strong desire to please and is food motivated. She could easily be taught new tricks and would actually really enjoy that. I think she would even do well if one wanted to get into dog sports with her. She is really eager to learn new things and you can tell she enjoys making her person proud.

Moon is such a love-bug and really is a sweet and gentle girl. She will just sit in your lap if you let her. If you are looking for that friend/partner to join you on walks or hikes and to then just chill with you after, Moon is your girl and would love to meet you!
