From the Foster: Frankie is an absolute lover! She is both sweet and spicy! She has piercing blue eyes and the softest puppy coat you can imagine! Frankie has lots of energy and wants to be walking, chasing, wrestling or any activity. Once she's tired she'll settle in for a good nap (but will get up if you move and she thinks there is food involved). She is on a good routine and gets plenty of outside time both morning and afternoon. She still pulls on walks but it is getting a lot better as time goes on. She is just interested in every sight and smell and has to check everything out! She loves to run and wrestle in the yard with our husky Braxie. She loves to chase him and bite his tail and ankles. She antagonizes him and is always trying to get him to play. Once they take a break she usually curls up next to him or comes to lay by us. She does bark when she gets excited or is playing, but doesn't bark at dogs or people she sees out and about. We've had play dates with other huskies and she's done great with all of them, even the calmer, older ones. Frankie is crated during the day. She'll go in for some treats and will bark for a few minutes but then settles down. When we get home she barks to get out, more for love than because she has to go potty (priorities 🙂). She's in her crate between 6-8 hours when we are at work and has never had an accident in there. She is potty trained but has had a few potty accidents. She knows to go to the same spot where there are a few pads. When she goes potty we have to walk around for a few minutes so she can go potty multiple times. She's pretty regular and predictable. She gets up to go out during the night about half the time, usually around 2-3am. Frankie generally sleeps 10pm-6am unless someone gets up, then she usually gets up to follow. She really wants to be near her people. She sleeps on the bed or on the rug next to the bed. She loves to sleep next to Braxie or on the pillow next to our head. She is a good eater and doesn't miss a meal. She eats her food, any and all treats she's given, some people food and things you leave unattended or within reach. She will jump up to the counter if there is something there she wants and she'll lay at or on our feet in the kitchen as we prepare food. She eats her food and will try to eat Braxie's if he walks away from it. She has shown no aggressive behavior about food or anything else. Frankie is the sweetest girl! She is not afraid of anything and doesn't have a mean bone in her body. She seems up for any adventure and just wants to be included. We feel she'd do best with another dog or people that are home most of the time. Being left alone a lot could be hard for her.We love Frankie so much! It will be hard to let her go but we know the perfect family is out there waiting for her!
