Grooming Needs: Faye has a standard husky coat which will require regular thorough brushing. You should aim for once a week or so, and more when she is blowing her coat, typically twice a year.
Fence: Fence or tie-out will work fine.
Solo or Siblings: Faye would do fine with siblings or as an only dog.
From the Foster: Unfortunately, this is Faye's second time in rescue with AAHMN. Her previous family struggled to keep her from occasionally slipping out the door behind them, and they were concerned that she would be hurt or get into trouble with a neighborhood cat. She originally came to AAHMN in late 2020 from Georgia. Despite these changes Faye has been the sweetest girl to her foster parents. Her dream day would be spent snuggling with you and getting belly rubs all day long. Her previous family had four young children so she should be great with the littles, but her foster family does not have kids. She also lived with another dog and is large dog friendly. We are unsure how she would do with small dogs, but cats are a definite no for her. She has gotten along well with her two foster fur siblings (one male and one female), but she would also be fine as an only dog. Faye is around 5 years old so she is past the super energetic puppy stage. As long as she gets a walk she is content to hang out with you afterward and chill for the rest of the day. She can't wait to find her new family and start the snuggle fest!
