Crate Trained: Hank does not like the crate; crate time should be limited as much as possible.

Housebroken: Yes. Has not had an accident in the house. Does not have a signal, but we let him out every couple of hours and he has not had an accident yet.

Energy Level: Medium. He is still a puppy, and has some of the puppy energy and behaviors (grabbing things he shouldn't, pestering his older foster siblings) but he can also be very mellow and loves to cuddle.

Reaction to New People: Interested. Doesn't demonstrate fear of either men or women. Has not had exposure to children yet.

Kid Friendly: Unknown.

Training: seems to know 'no.' He is house-broken.

Grooming needs: Normal husky coat which will require regular thorough brushing. You should aim for once a week or so, and more when he is blowing his coat, typically twice a year.

Fence: Would highly recommend it. He may do ok with a tie out - but he is very interested in little critters on our walks, so we think if there were sufficient incentive he would try to bolt after them.

Solo or Siblings: Hank would benefit from a home with siblings but could be a solo pup in an environment with a lot of attention and interaction.

From the Foster: Hank is an absolute joy of a puppy. He is still a puppy, we think he is about 1 year old. He is on the mellow side for a puppy though. Given that he was part of a pack that was abandoned, we were amazed at how easily he settled down in his new surroundings. He has been very well behaved. So far he has not destroyed anything. He gravitates toward toys, but is not crazy in his play with them. He mouths a little, but listens when told to stop. He is learning how to respect the hierarchy of his pack (with our older two). His favorite position is laying on his back with all four legs up in the air. He is an absolute cuddle bug - always wanting to nuzzle and be pet, and at times thinks he is a lap dog. Hank is not a fan of his crate; we feel he would do best in an environment where crate time is limited. He is learning to walk on a leash - gets easily distracted but keeps up pretty well, doesn't pull too badly.
