From the foster: Duke came to us as a surrender through a local vet clinic after escaping his yard and killing chickens on a neighboring farm. Due to this, we are looking for a home for him with no small critters. As well, he can be very pushy with dogs his size and when corrected by other dogs, he doesn't take it well. We would like Duke to be a solo dog in his forever home. Quite frankly, he LOVES people so much, this is probably his dream scenario. Although his previous family loved to bits, they knew they didn't have the resources to keep him. He has been a DREAM to foster. He is so fun to get to know with his cute husky bounces and "Awoos during meal times. He loves going for walks but also loves his down time on the couch with you. In boarding he learned how to run on a treadmill and loves going bike-joring. He is both crate trained and house trained. He is so silly and eager to please-the kennel staff says he makes them laugh daily, whether its him singing during workout time or cataching a wild case of the zoomies while playing fetch, he always has them in stitches. He is going to make someone an INCREDIBLE companion and will probably make them a husky person forever.
